As of July 1st, 2022,  Schoner Chevrolet is the presenting partner of Lake Blue Streak Athletics – formally recognized as Lake Blue Streak Athletics – Driven By Schoner Chevrolet. The agreement, between the Lake Local Schools Athletic Department, the Lake Athletic Booster Club (LABC), and Schoner Chevrolet will position LABC to further enhance and invest in the mission of the athletic department and the Blue Streak student-athlete experience.

“This partnership is incredibly unique and a true testament to the value that collaboration with community businesses, our booster club, and the school district can bring under a common vision. I am so grateful for Schoner Chevrolet’s willingness to partner and the Lake Athletic Booster Club for continuing to support our kids and coaches at such a high level” says Athletic Director, Brock Cline.

Recognition of this partnership will be visible in a variety of deliverables, including digital representation, print recognition, updated signage in various athletic venues/athletic related areas on campus, apparel, and named sponsorship of specific events. Fans can expect to see much of these impactful pieces on display starting early in the 2022-2023 academic year.

Opening its doors in 1936, Scholer Chevrolet began selling Chevrolet/GM products from a location on South Prospect Street where the dealership would call home for just over 40 years. About the Lake Athletic Booster Club:

Formed in 1976, the Lake Athletic Booster Club is a volunteer driven organization with a mission to help meet the greatest needs of the athletic department at Lake Local Schools. LABC has been the driving force behind the most impactful athletic projects at Lake, including the building of Blue Streak Stadium, the construction, maintenance, and remodeling of the Lake Athletic Complex, the awarding of hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarship monies, turf installation, equipment upgrades, and uniform purchases. The LABC is also the principal executor of Big Blue Marketing, the organization that manages marketing partnerships affiliated with athletics.
